Dear Readers,

We pray for the well-being of all as we convey Darshan greetings on Sri Aurobindo’s birthday.

SACAR is dedicated to an in-depth intellectual study and inquiry into the thought and vision of
Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, and through its academic programmes and courses facilitate the learning of younger generations in understanding the relevance of this vision for our present times and conditions. Guided by this mission, SACAR continuously looks for ways to collaborate with other educational institutions in India and abroad. Our readers must be aware of the existing partnerships SACAR has with International Vedic Hindu University, (Florida, USA), the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, and Antioch University (Ohio, USA). We are happy to share the news that SACAR is now finalizing the details for launching a new partnership with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) which will give, for the first time in India, a national platform to
Sri Aurobindo Studies. This new initiative will be launched on August 15, 2008 – an auspicious day for all of us.

At New Race we decided to mark this occasion by sharing with our readers some enlightening deliberations among a small group of young learners at SACAR studying specific topics related to Sri Aurobindo’s teachings on Integral Yoga. We are happy to give our readers a look at this small sample from the online discussions held as part of one of the recently finished doctoral level courses on Integral Yoga Psychology. We have chosen only three weeks from this course but we are positive that readers will be impressed and inspired by the intellectual rigour and depth of these discussions.

We thank all our readers for their continued support and goodwill for SACAR.  We will keep you posted on updates about the new programmes launched in collaboration with IGNOU.

Till next time….

Beloo
